Thank you for your interest in Hollins University for your photo shoot. We know that the natural beauty of our campus is a favorite spot for both professional and personal photographers.

As a private University, our facilities and grounds are primarily designed to support the educational mission of the institution as well as to facilitate related activities of significance or interest to the University. We strive to maintain the integrity of our beautiful campus, ensure the privacy and security of our students and community members, and avoid any disruption of campus activities.

If you’d like to use our campus for a client or personal photo shoot, you must submit a photo shoot request form at least 5 business days in advance of the proposed date of your shoot. We have implemented a set of procedures and guidelines and ask that you please review them prior to submitting a request.

For those interested in shooting Hollins’ grounds or landscapes only, as part of your personal photography, feel free to do so. Please refer to our procedures and guidelines as they relate to landscape photos and be cognizant of the campus community and defer to Hollins students, faculty, and staff needs when you are shooting.
